Pentastar Cartridge to Spin-On Oil filter adapter fits 2014 + 3.2 and 3.6-liter Pentastar engines. Cartridge Filters have no anti-drainback valve. This product provides faster oil pressure at startup by keeping the upper oil system flooded. The adapter contains full flow check valve and unique threaded locking mechanism. Utilizes Schrader valve for oil evacuation when removing spin-on filter. Made and patented in USA.

Some vehicles may require slight modifications to attain proper clearances for installation and servicing.

Install Notes:

• We highly suggest upgrading the oil cooler housing at the same time to an Aluminum housing. You can buy the Dorman Aluminum housing here.
• Some small plastic trimming on the intake manifold may be required on JL/JT 3.6
• JK 3.6L installs require careful work around the vent lines into the intake manifold, those lines can be rerouted or extended if needed
• Adding this housing increases the oil capacity of your engine… be sure to account for this when changing oil!

Fitment Note: If you have a 2012/2013 JK 3.6L with the original cooler housing, this WILL NOT fit. Upgrading to the Dorman Aluminum oil cooler will allow this to be installed on these year Jeeps.
