The ULTIMATE solution to your front axle bushings just not holding up…
Now available for your front axle bushing needs – the same badass bushing solution we have been building control arms and long arms with since 2017 (with less than 0.001% failure/replacement rate).
Trail Forged Better Bushing™ press in front axle bushing fits stock Dana 30 and 44 axle housings, and the new M186/M210 front axle (both driver and passenger side) and all aftermarket housings and truss kits that have been designed to utilize the stock bushing size.
These are sold individually!!
- 22 degrees of total misalignment
- Self centering
- ZERO maintenance required!
- Superior NVH dampening (noise, vibration, and harshness) for good road manners
- Teflon lined inner bushing ring prevents gapping when flexing and allows center sleeve to spin without bind. This means you can safely torque bushing bolts down even when not at ride height!
- Enough radial “flex” to allow 4 link + trackbar suspension systems to flex to high levels without binding
Applications:
- Universal Application – any axle housing designed to use factory Jeep upper control arm bushings
- JL Wrangler and JT Gladiator
- JK Wrangler Unlimited (2 & 4-door) – can be used with factory or upgrade hardware
- TJ & LJ Wrangler*
- XJ Cherokee*
- MJ Comanche*
- ZJ Grand Cherokee*
- WJ Grand Cherokee*
* These models originally came with 10mm bolts, this bushing is sized for 1/2″ hardware, so drilling out your control arm fork/bracket is required (and a nice strength upgrade with minimal effort)
Notes:
- When replacing, be sure to press ONLY on the outer bushing sleeve and not anywhere else. You may damage the bushing otherwise.
- Be sure to seat the bushing fully in the bracket (driver side goes until the step on the bushing seats firmly against the cast housing, passenger side until the flange seats against the inside bracket)
- USE A PRESS! Smashing these with a hammer will likely damage the bushing, your axle, and not seat it in fully.
- DO NOT heat the new bushings! This includes powder coat ovens, pressing in a bushing on a hot or freshly welded sleeve, etc.
