Trackbar Bracket Height
- 3-6.5″ Bracket
- Cancels bump steer best between these lift heights. Still FAR better than stock above 7″ of lift, but not as optimized.
- 7″+
- Cancels bump steer best on really tall lifts. May not clear frame rail at full compression with 3-4″ lifts.
- If you are lower than 7″ now but plan to move up in the near future, you can select the taller bracket. Bump steer will be much improved over other setups, just not as zeroed out as it will be once lifted taller.

Notes:
- Bare kits ship quickly, usually within a week of ordering. Powder coating may take up to 2 to 3 weeks longer, though we try to keep that time down much shorter than that.
- We have confirmed fitment on 17″ wheels with 4.75″ backspacing. We cannot confirm clearance on wheels with more backspacing or smaller diameter.
- The 7″+ bracket does move the swaybar link mount up on the passenger side only. Most adjustable links or quick disconnects have enough adjustability to accommodate a longer driver side link length. In some cases, though, this may require modification of your sway bar link setup.
- Low lifts (3″) should be running a 2″ or more bump stop extension. Notching the pinch seam under the frame slightly can also be done to make room for full uptravel.
- The axle track bar bracket is NOT designed to handle the additional forces of a hydraulic assist ram. If you plan to run hydro assist, we suggest adding additional bracing or gusset for strength.

I will start by saying as of this review I have not installed the steering and OTA track bar yet. But I did receive it and have inspected the parts. They are beefy to say the least. Also noticed the welds on the track bar bracket are very nice and show good penetration. The packaging of the parts was some of the best I think I’ve ever seen. With the great packaging I found no defects in the powder coat, and everything was held tightly in place. I would not hesitate to buy this kit again if I ever had to replace my WJ, and with the reports I’ve gotten from other trail forged owners I have no doubt this setup will last a long time. Looking forward to the install, and putting the rest of my trail forged parts to the test.

I purchased the one ton kit. I figured I’d drive it a little before I wrote a review. Install was fairly easy this kit made a huge difference my jeep hasn’t drove this good since I lifted it and the quality of the parts are excellent I recommend anyone with I lifted WJ buy this kit

Night & Day difference! At least 90% of front driveline vibration gone without an alignment. Other 10 is probably tires m/t . Highly recommend this kit. Coming from a fresh iron rock pro link kit, brand new trackbar. Not even 1000 miles on it.
